Patriot Acura Supports Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation Through Ski-A-Thon Fundraising Event
At Patriot Acura, community involvement is at the core of everything we do. Through our ongoing Patriot Cares, Patriot Shares initiative, we proudly partner with organizations that create meaningful impact across Maine and beyond.
In March 2026, Patriot Subaru and Patriot Acura were honored to support Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation as part of their annual Ski-A-Thon at Sugarloaf Mountain—a signature fundraising event that brings the community together in support of adaptive sports programs.
Supporting Adaptive Sports in Maine
vMaine Adaptive Sports & Recreation is dedicated to providing year-round access to outdoor recreation for individuals with disabilities. Through adaptive skiing, snowboarding, cycling, kayaking, and more, the organization helps athletes of all abilities experience the freedom and joy of outdoor sports.
Their mission goes beyond recreation—it’s about empowerment, inclusion, and building confidence through movement and community connection.
Patriot Acura’s Role in the Ski-A-Thon
As proud sponsors of the Ski-A-Thon at Sugarloaf, our team joined forces with Maine Adaptive and the broader community to help support this incredible cause. Thanks to collective efforts, the event surpassed its fundraising goal, raising an outstanding $381,866.
These funds directly support adaptive equipment, professional instruction, and year-round programming that makes outdoor recreation accessible to all.
