Patriot Acura Gives Back: Supporting The Summit Project Through Community Outreach
At Patriot Acura, community involvement is more than a value—it’s a responsibility. Through our Patriot Cares, Patriot Shares initiative, we continue to support impactful nonprofit organizations while strengthening our connection to the communities we serve.
Now in its sixth year, this program—run jointly between our two Patriot stores—has highlighted more than 55 local nonprofits. Each partnership reflects our commitment to community outreach, charitable giving, and meaningful local engagement. In January 2026, we were proud to partner with The Summit Project, an organization dedicated to honoring fallen service members.
What Is The Summit Project?
The Summit Project is a volunteer-driven nonprofit that has been honoring Maine’s fallen heroes since September 11, 2001. Their mission is centered around a powerful and symbolic living memorial.
Families of fallen service members donate stones engraved with their loved one’s name. Volunteers then carry these stones up mountains across Maine and throughout the world. Each journey represents the weight of sacrifice carried by both the fallen and their families.
This unique tribute not only preserves the memory of these heroes but also fosters a strong sense of community, remembrance, and respect.
How Patriot Acura Supported The Cause
As part of our ongoing commitment to community giving, Patriot Acura and Patriot Subaru dedicated a percentage of vehicle sales during the first week of January to support The Summit Project.
This initiative allowed our customers to be part of something bigger—turning everyday car purchases into meaningful contributions that support veterans, families, and remembrance efforts.
Through this partnership, we were able to raise awareness and contribute to a cause that aligns closely with our values of service, respect, and community impact.
