Patriot Acura Supports Project G.R.A.C.E. in Scarborough, Maine

At Patriot Acura in Scarborough, Maine, supporting our local community isn’t an initiative—it’s part of who we are. Our connection with Project G.R.A.C.E. (Granting Resources and Assistance through Community Effort) began even before our dealership doors officially opened.

While our new facility was still under construction, our sister store in Saco partnered with Project G.R.A.C.E. to support their senior living assistance programs. Once Patriot Acura opened, we saw an opportunity to deepen that relationship—especially during Maine’s harsh winter months, when access to reliable home heating becomes critical.

Recognizing the immediate need, our team proudly presented a $550 donation to support the organization’s home heating fuel fund—a vital resource that helps local residents stay safe and warm throughout the winter.

During the visit, we had the pleasure of meeting Alberta “Bert” Follansbee, Board President of Project G.R.A.C.E., who shared more about the organization’s ongoing efforts. Their year-round fuel assistance fund, along with the annual Fuel Rally event held each February at the Scarborough Public Library, represents one of the group’s largest and most impactful community programs.

We’re proud to support initiatives that directly impact the well-being of our neighbors—and even more proud to help raise awareness for programs like Project G.R.A.C.E. that make a real difference here in Scarborough and Southern Maine.
